Design For Good Group Project: Carp 4 Hunger

Project objective was to create a design to help solve an environmental, social, or political problem. Our group decided to focus on the problem of the invasion of the species of Asian Carp. We found a way to help with the invasion, and created an interactive family activity, while also feeding the impoverished. My contribution to the project: I chose the typeface for the logotype, as well as the color palette. Using elements from a teammate logo and button designs, I combined the best assets for an event poster, info-graphic poster, and pamphlet. I also designed a wall for donating customers to sign their name on a fish badge and stick it to the wall.
This is the advertisement poster for the four events. It was designed by Kenna Mangan.

This is the inside of the pamphlet, designed by Kenna Mangan. It would be handed out at sporting goods retail store counters.
This is the back of the pamphlet, designed by Kenna Mangan. The pamphlet folds along the vertical lines to create a square shape with rounded corners.
This is the donation wall where the fish badges would be hung in the retail stores where donations are made upon check-out.

T-shirts were designed by teammate Matt Washausen. He actually screen printed t-shirts for all of our team members.
These are button designs. We made real buttons to be handed out at sporting goods retail stores, the camps that we would host for the children, and also to be handed out at the church and local food pantry corresponding events. Buttons were designed by teammate Matt Washausen.
